eBay synchronisation to inventory

After eBay or ecommerce sync the product availability is automatically updated.

So you can have for example

- 7 pieces of product X in your warehouse
- 2 ordered on eBay

Quantity available = 5

At the next sync the available quantity on ecommerce and eBay will be of 5 pieces

When you ship the 2 pieces it will be:
- 5 pieces of product X in your warehouse
- 0 ordered on eBay
Quantity available = 5

I understand that to fully process eBay orders, I need to create a customer invoice, and then convert it to a customer invoice.

Considering that most of the dispatch and payment processes actually take place outside of ReadyPro (e.g. eBay and Paypal), is there a way to speed up the processing of eBay orders so that it actually reduces the stock value, and not just the availability?

You mean that customer invoice are actually created using another software, and stock avaliability is updated only on the other software, right?

The best thing is to export daily the stock quantities from the other software, and reimport in Ready Pro, to update each item stock quantity.
And you need also to block eBay orders that have been shipped

Otherwise Ready Pro couldn't know that a certain item quantity as to be decreased

We don't use any other software for stock control. (Other than a monthly in/out report) For items that are listed on eBay, we try to keep the quantities correct, but occasionally, this does not go to plan. This is why we need a system like ReadyPro that can handle such processes automatically. Ultimately, although eBay is where we make most of our sales, it is only one sales channel - we also accept walk-in and telephone sales, and will soon be developing a website.

Are you saying that I should download a daily sales report from eBay and adjust ReadyPro inventory by importing that file?

Is there a script that can be run to automate the process of:

a) converting eBay orders to customer orders (taking into account that some customers may be repeat customers).

b) converting customer orders to a sale document that affects the inventory count.

The new version was released on 25th october but for now only in italian version (we need to translate some labels yet). I think the english version will be released no later than 30th of november
