I am just wondering if we can use ReadyPro to populate "item specific" fields when creating an eBay listing.

Yes, you can create "eBay templates" that can be used to automatically create listing description.
Proceed this way.
Click "SETTINGS" to edit account settings

Go to MODELS tab and click ADD to create a new model

Assign a name to the model
Note: You can create a single model valid for every item, or multiple models, so afterwards you can assign different models to each product category.
In my exampe i create a model for PRINTERS items

Here you can edit description (in HTML). There are many tags available (from INSERT / PREDEFINED TAG) to dinamically insert item name, item code, etc. in each eBay listing

Confirm HTML and save model. You can set this model as the default one, or assign models to every Ready Pro item category

Ok, configuration is complete. Now, when you create a new eBay listing this model will be used, and the extended description automatically generated using with item fields (replaced on the model description through predefined tags)

That's great, and actually covers one of my greatest concerns. I did actually create a thread about it before seeing your response here.
But by "Item Specifics" I am refering to a part of the eBay listing that is not actually part of the description. It is a part of the listing that is actually situated above the description. See image below.
It's not too important that we be able to populate this section, as we can easily include the information in the main description using the method you described above.
Thanks.
